Note on verso: "201. Lenin Room in a Government bureau in Pao An, Shensi. The small charactes on the side read: 'Library for Books, Magazines and Newspapers.' Every company in the Red Army, and every workers' group etc. has its 'Lenin Room' or club-room for reading and studying. The 'Decoration Committee' always keeps the room gaily festooned with paper-decorations, shown inside in this photograph. Inside also the text-books are kept for the members of the local group."
