Biographical History

Lesley Leroy Beck served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Lesley Leroy Beck was born and raised in Centerfield, Utah. The men in his family had served in the military, leading him to volunteer for the draft. He was sent to the Demilitarized Zone in Korea where he served in the infantry. He did a lot of mechanical work and helped build schools for Korean children. After two years of military service, he returned to Utah. He took welding classes and worked in farming. He married two separate times and raised six daughters.
