Materials include Emmeline B. Wells's handwritten diary dated July 1882 to August 1883. Most of the entries occur in July with one entry in August. The cover is red leather and opens vertically. This diary describes travels to San Francisco and other areas in the western United States. It also describes a trip to the Boston World's Fair in August. Includes some entries written by Wells' daughter, Louisa. Dated July 1882 to August 1883.
