Contains beliefs concerning the activities revolved around the house including maintaining and protecting the house, entering and leaving the house, bringing things into the house, soap and washing, sweeping and cleaning, the fireplace, furnishings, and other housekeeping tips. Locations of the setting include Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Arizona, Missouri, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, Georgia, and Austria. Many beliefs are a product of various cultures such as England, Costa Rica, Uruguay, Austria, Russia/Romania, and the Papago and Navajo Native Americans. Items span the dates 1964 to 2007.
