August "Specimen" Schmidt, Cinnabar resident, holding Paul Hoppe who grew up to be the buffalo keeper in Yelowstone National Park. I've written about Schmidt and Paul Hoppe in Gateway To Yellowstone: The raucous town of Cinnabar on the mountain frontierR (2015).
