Scope and Contents

Contains letters from Alvin Fielding Smith to his wife Amelia Atkins Smith, or "Millie," and his daugher Ruth, or "Ruthie." Smith writes from London, England, where he served as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, to his family in Salt Lake City, Utah. In his letters, he includes daily mission affairs, references to correspondence with other family and acquaintances, matters at home, and outings with members of the Church. Included is his testimony of the Gospel and missionary work, as well as many mentions of missing his daughter. Dated September 1, 1905 - September 29, 1905.
