Scope and Contents
Contains edited printouts of transcriptions, created by Amanda Crandall in 2011-2012, of all letters written by Edward Hayhurst to his family during the year 1863 (January-December; oddly enough, the only existing letters written during 1863 were those by Edward), including items to father Isaac or 'Our Folks,' mother Louisa, brother Joseph, or brother Thomas (a fellow soldier), as well as a news clipping, a Special Order, and one other miscellaneous enclosure.
