Contains letters from Alvin Fielding Smith to his wife Amelia Atkins Smith, or "Millie," and his daugher Ruth, or "Ruthie." Details about Smith's European tour with his father, President Joseph F. Smith, and other family are the highlight of these materials. He writes from Glasgow, Scotland; Liverpool, England; and London, England. Stories of his trip, sites on the tour, and his regrets at saying good-bye to his family when their European tour ends are included. The rest of the letters pertain to daily mission affairs after his journey ends, correspondence with friends and family, and thoughts on Church doctrine. Dated September 1, 1906 - September 29, 1906.
