Scope and Contents
Young and Mary B. Jensen worked together several years, as folk dance instructors and in the presidency of the National Folk Organization. This collection of materials includes many histories written by L. DeWayne Young, including a nomination for her NDA Heritage Award. There are also a few programs from her time as the director of the Brigham Young International Folk Dancers. This sub-series focuses on Jensen’s achievements and awards, with praises from many sources. Dates range from approximately 1990-2000.
