Contains the daybook of Armstrong and Bagley, which includes a business account (pp. 1-14); a list of ordinations and important dates of Samuel Russell, Jr. beginning in 1898 (pp. 17-18); a chronology of Samuel Russell, April 1878 to September 1893 (pp. 21-24); a Latin essay on "George Washington," dated January 26, 1894, probably written by Samuel Russell [Jr.] (p. 27); handwritten copies of newspaper articles, dated July 8, 1890 and March 28, 1891 (p. 28); a poem to Samuel [Jr.] from his brother Ike [Isaac], dated April 14, 1896 (p.29); information about the 15th Ward Marching Club (p. 30); and the journal of Samuel Russell [Jr.]., July 20, 1897 to July 4, 1903 (pp. 31-159).
