Letter from Lalande in London to Mme. Dupiery in Paris on August 12th, 1788. Lalande writes after returning to Greenwich observatory via Portsmouth and Cambridge. Returning to Greenwich, he engages with new instruments and technologies in which he observes Venus along with other constellations. He claims these observations to be the best observations made in England so far.
