Biographical History

From the Collection:

Laura L. Walker (1975- ) is a mother, author of fictional romances, and sole proprietor of her editing side business from Pima, Arizona.

Laura L. Walker grew up in a large family in the Gila Valley, Arizona. She was born August 28, 1975 in Safford, Arizona to Lyn and Lois Larson. Laura attended Northern Arizona University where she not only graduated with a bachelor degree in elementary education, but also met her husband, Ron. Together they have had 6 children. In 2000, Laura’s sister, Vonda, died as a victim of domestic violence. This tragedy and the other experiences of her and her family have influenced the characters of her novels, including her membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Laura has authored two contemporary romances and a Christmas novella, with plans to keep writing. She has also become the sole proprietor of her editing side business.
