Typescript of an interview conducted by Ben Bahlmann on October 28, 1999. Bahlmann retained the audiocassettes from which the interview was transcribed. Jones talks about his training and about his service with the 11th Airborne Division during World War II. He was deployed to the Phillippines where he was engaged in combat with the Japanese.

Biographical / Historical

John W. Jones served in the United States Army as a paratrooper during World War II. He was deployed to the Phillippines where he was engaged in combat with the Japanese. As of 1999, he was living in Orem, Utah.
