Scope and Contents
Recording on audiocassette of an interview with Dwight G. Pattee conducted by Ben Bahlmann on February 12, 2000. Pattee talks about his connections to the aircraft industry in the United States before the outbreak of World War II. He tells about his training as a pilot for the B-17 aircraft, his deployment to England, and his combat missions over Germany and other parts of Europe.

Biographical / Historical
McCrory was born and raised in Oneida, Iowa, and was living in Midvale, Utah, at the time of the interview. McCrory served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.
