Letter from Lalande in London to Mme. Dupiery in Paris on July29, 1788. The letter describes Lalande's voyage back to England. He describes his visit in England's Greenwich Observatory to be indispensable to his astronomy research and specifically lunar discoveries. He also mentions working in Greenwich with the Herschel siblings, Friedrich Wilhem and Caroline, on their telescope. Lalande calls the Greenwich Observatory the "chef bien da astronomie dans l'univers".
