Scope and Contents

A letter written by Elizabeth Oakey in Ogden, Utah to Sarah Oakey Sirrine in Dingle, Idaho. Elizabeth asks Sarah why she never mentions her husband George. She mentions that their sister Mary is trying to sell out her shop to move to San Francisco. She talks about her own children and says she only sees her husband Jim once a month. Dated December 6, 1881.
