Poem reads: "For Bing Hsin, pride of Fukien Genius with brush and pen by Helen Foster Snow Oh, we all remember the writer, Bing Hsin, The woman so bright and so fair. She wrote many books of borht poems and prose. For beauty and brains none could compare. She lives for a century, the fullness of time. The model of marriage and of art. A bridge to the future from East and from West. And always she played the woman's part. Note: I write this while thinking of a beautiful old song of the turn of the century, which you could not find in China, but old music history had it., It is about 'oh, don't you remember Sweet Alice, Ben Bolt, Sweet Alice..."
