Contains an 18-page genealogical research manuscript, "The Hayhursts of Hayhurst," written by Thomas H. Hayhurst in 1908. The manuscript traces the history of his branch of the Hayhurst family in Ribchester and Dutton (England).
The manuscript is accompanied by two genealogical letters written by Thomas: one to his "namesake," another Thomas Hayhurst living in the Manchester, England area, dated May 5, 1908; and a longer one to Paul Hayhurst (Edward's son), dated September 7, 1907.
