Biographical History
Michael Lehnardt was a student at Brigham Young University majoring in art and science. He painted the mural as part of his senior project. His original sketch was based on Raphael's School of Athens and included many widely recognized characters. As the mural evolved, the artist focused more on traditional fairy tale characters. The mural took 8 months to be painted and was unveiled on March 21, 2002.
