Administrative History
The College of Engineering Sciences and Technology (1973-1984) was an administrative unit at Brigham Young University.
The College of Engineering Sciences and Technology was formed in 1973 in a merger of the earlier College of Physical and Engineering Sciences and the College of Industrial and Technical Education. The college was later renamed the College of Engineering and Technology in 1984. The Design and Classification System (DCLASS) software was used by the college to structure file-naming codes for databases.
