Restricted. Closed for 35 years from the date of creation of the records, and thereafter open to the public in accordance with the University Archives Policy.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Department of Art records must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
The Art Department, a department in the College of Fine Arts, featured Bent L. Larsen, Elbert Eastmond, Verla L. Birrell, Lynn Taylor, and J. Roman Andrus as instructors. The Department of Art was its own department until the Departments of Art and Design merged in 1995 to become the Department of Visual Arts.
