Scope and Contents
Correspondence of Hinckley with family members and associates and notes on gospel topics as well as letters of condolence received by the family upon Hinckley's death. Also includes a folder of correspondence of Hinckley's descendants, dated 1953-1959.

Biographical / Historical
Edwin Smith Hinckley was a professor of geology at Brigham Young University during the early 20th Century. He also served as second counselor when George H. Brimhall was president of Brigham Young University.
