Administrative History
The National Academic Advising Association (1977- ) is a global organization dedicated to improving students' educational experience.
The National Academic Advising Association began at a conference in 1975 and was chartered in 1977. With over 10,000 members, all of whom are educators or educational counselors, the organization seeks to expand educational opportunity for students throughout the world and provide assistance for those with financial, physical, or other needs.
