Scope and Contents

Contains minutes of the BYU Women, including records from the officers' meetings, general meetings, and council meetings. Minutes include lists of attendees, committee formation and membership, and proposed changes to the constitution. Also included are respresentative responsibilities, event invitations and evaluations, as well as correspondence with President Dallin H. Oaks. Photographs of events and officers are also contained. Materials dated 1934-2005.

BYU Women (1914-2011) is a club for women faculty and wives of faculty members at Brigham Young University that was established in 1914.

BYU Women was established in 1914 under the direction of President George H. Brimhall. The organization is for women who are faculty members of Brigham Young University or for the wives of Brigham Young University faculty members.
