Biographical History
In 1954, Ernest Wilkinson organized the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. In 1965, the College was divided, and the College of Social Sciences was organized. In 1980, a major reorganization combined several departments in the College of Social Sciences, and Family Living into the College of Family, Home and Social Sciences. The deans of the college of Family, Home and Social Sciences are: John T. Bernhard, 1965-1968; Martin Hickman, 1970-1985; Stan L. Albrecht, 1985-1989; Donovan Fleming, 1989-.
