From the Collection:

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is a department within the Ira A. Fulton College of Engineering and Technology. The department traces its roots back to 1953 when Electrical Engineering was a branch of the Engineering Sciences department in the College of Physical and Engineering Science. During 1963 Electrical Engineering became its own department in the College of Engineering Sciences and Technology. The Dept. of Electrical Engineering was changed to the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1987.
