Franklin Stewart Harris photograph album of Lebanon and Syria, 1946 March-April
Scope and Contents
Contains photographs of Harris' travels in Lebanon and Syria. The blue cloth cover features colored drawings of sheiks and camels in front of the arches of a ruin on the front. The pages are tied to the covers with blue cords. Opaque liner papers with white repetitive illustrations are between pages. Harris's photograph numbers are written above the photographs. Some photographs have numbers on the photograph strips but they are generally backwards and do not match the handwritten numbers. Each page number includes both sides of the page. The images date from between March and April 1946.
