Scope and Contents
Contains four scrapbooks from the School of Library and Information Sciences. Scrapbooks include photographs of faculty, staff, and students as well as photographs from various library conventions, dinners, and parties. Also contains a scrapbook with photographs from a library school 25-year reunion in 1991.

Biographical History
Nathan M. Smith was a director of the Brigham Young University School of Library and Information Sciences.
Nathan M. Smith served as director of the School of Library and Information Sciences from 1983-1988. In 1986, Smith received recognition for his contribution to the Joint Conference of the Colorado Library Association and the Mountain Plains Library Association. He lived in Payson and often held dinners and parties for the school at his home.
