Digitized holograph missionary diaries kept by Bean while serving in the Southern State Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including a missionary blessing, family history, account of coming to Utah in 1847, family genealogy records and certificates of ordination.

Digitized materials are primarily in English, but some Spanish, Italian, and French items are also included.

Conditions Governing Access

Restricted. Closed for 35 years from the date of creation of the records, and thereafter open to the public in accordance with the University Archives Policy.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Digital Initiatives project records must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
