Biographical / Historical
Alvina Soffel Barrett (1902-1955) was a musician and music teacher from California.
Alvina Soffel Barrett was born May 24, 1902 in Ventura, California to parents Albert Edward Soffel and Alvina Christina Johanna Schilling. Professionally, she worked as a musician and a music teacher. Soffel Barrett went on to marry her first husband, Cilbert Luther Green, on January 1, 1921 in Los Angeles, California. Later, she married George Luther Barrett on October 14, 1926 in San Francisco, California. Soffel Barrett passed away on May 31, 1955, and was burried in Glendale, California.
