Biographical History

A. Smith Pond (1905-1959) was an economics professor and college administrator in Utah. He was a professor in the Department of Economics from 1937 to 1955. He later served as dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (1955-1957), and dean of the Graduate School (1957-1959).
