Administrative History

Advanced Combustion Engineering Research Center (ACERC) is an applied-energy research institution located at Brigham Young University. It is a cooperative effort between BYU and the University of Utah, established in 1985. ACERC researches energy technologies, including coal combustion and comprehensive modeling.
