Biographical History

Ralph Lanier Britsch (born 1938) was a history professor at Brigham Young University who specialized in the history of missionary work by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church), particularly in the Pacific Islands and Asia. He served as academic vice-president of BYU—Hawaii from 1986-1990.

Historical Note

The book MORAMONA: The Mormons in Hawaii discusses 140 years of history of the Mormons in Hawaii, from 1850 to the present. Published by the Institute of Polynesian Studies in 1992.
