Contains information on folk festivals from a wide array, in culture, dance style, and time. The festival materials include program flags, programs, photo books, and news clippings. The National Folk Festival, Rocky Mountain Dance Roundup, Tydzién Kultory Beskidzkiej, and Swieto Dzieci Gór materials comprise the majority of the L. DeWayne Young’s collection. Dates range approximately 1940-2012.

L. DeWayne Young collection on Yvtautas F. Beliajus and Lithuania, 1941-1988

Scope and Contents

Contains materials regarding Vytautas F. Beliajus He was a good friend of Young's and the creator of Viltis Magazine, where Young co-edited for fifteen years. Their friendship was well known, and some of the materials were donated to Young as a contribution to his collection. There are publications that mention Beliajus and were written by him. There is also a portion regarding Lithuania and their folk dances. Materials date from 1941-1988.
