Materials include photographs, miscellaneous publications and news clippings, personalized envelopes, dental advertisements written by Alexander, brochures and information from trips, personal notes and lists, miscellaneous correspondence, drawings and illustrations, World War II materials, writings and speeches, and other assorted materials.

Subseries includes materials related to book and writing programs and a violin concert. Most of the book conferences were at colleges and universities, and Lloyd Alexander would participate in some manner. The violin concert material comes from a concert featuring Lloyd Alexander playing the violin, and includes invitations, programs, photographs and recordings of the performance.

Scope and Contents note Subseries contains a number of illustrations drawn by Lloyd Alexander. These include different drafts, color proofs, and the finished products. Lloyd Alexander made illustrations for the Cricket magazine, local programs and pamphlets, and Christmas cards that he sent out every year.
