Materials include detailed account of Leonard Vaughn Sevey's military service in England, North Africa, Sicily, Corsica and Italy in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. Account taken from a transcript about Sevey and his wife entitled "Memories of Leonard and Margaret Sevey." Discusses his duties as ground crew chief for B-25-G Bombers, positive and negative experiences as an LDS soldier, difficulties of living outdoors, and his long boat ride home. Dated before 2001.
