Myrna Purnell collected personal narratives dealing with the Ogopogo, a snake-like monster living in the Okanagan lake in British Colombia. Included are stories of Ogopogo sightings, songs about the monster, and descriptions of the Ogopogo. Project was written for Mr. Cheney's English 367 class in 1971.

Nechama Rosberg collected narratives about his maternal great grandfather Note-Svi-Hirsh Finkel, a Jewish leader also known as Der Alter. Included are stories of Der Alter's love of his students, his kindness to those around him, and his wisdom. Project was written in 1969.

Included are stories of Mormon and Non-Mormon dating, kissing, and engagements, as well as awkward situations and dates.
