A letter from George Edward Sirrine in Mesa, Arizona to his wife Sarah Oakey Sirrine in Paris, Bear Lake, Idaho. George tells that his mother is better but too sick to sit up. He also mentions that Ella is gaining strength. Dated May 18, 1886.

Scope and Contents

A letter written by Thomas Oakey to his sister Sarah Oakey Sirrine and others. Tongue in cheek, Tom invites Sarah and a list of old friends and relatives to a "stag party" for his 81st birthday, but had to cancel it because his daughters and Edna said he couldn't have a stag party with women, so it is all off. (Tom died the following year.) Dated July 1, 21.
