A letter written by Hyrum Oakey in Dingle, Idaho to his mother Mary Cooper Oakey, sister Sarah Oakey Sirrine, and brother-in-law George Edward Sirrine in Mesa, Arizona. Hyrum is writing to family, who have gone to Mesa to visit and is reporting on Alfred and Jim and things at home. (Hyrum was married this year. His wife Selena is pregnant with their first child and he has been called on a mission at this time.) Dated November 26, 1885.
