Scope and Contents Original letter written by Mary Cooper Oakey in Caseward, Utah Territory 16 (Kaysville, UT) to her daughter Mary Oakey in Nottingham England. This letter is rare as it is written by Mary Cooper's own hand. Mary urges her daughter to come to Utah soon and hopes that if her daughter is not already married that she will wait until after she emigrates as it is difficult to travel with a baby.
