Among his activities, he went to the theater to see "the Wizard of the Nile" at the Columbia Theater. Tanta is Clara's sister Emma Neuberger Frank. A short note is attached to Sanford's letter, written by Dan Heiman--probably a friend. Dated January 29, 1899. Includes a transcription of the letter.
