Photocopy of a microfilmed copy of a typewritten biography. Oliver Evans Thornton was born in Iowa in 1848 when his parents were migrating west with other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He came to Utah in 1852 and later settled in American Fork. He married Emeretta Phillips in 1873.
