Scope and Contents The bulk of the collection consists of the personal records of August J. Johnson while he was serving an Eastern States Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1908-1910. It includes journals, some of which appear to be duplicates, correspondence with family members, expense records, a photograph album, hymn books, and missionary record form books.
