Scope and Contents
This collection contains 196 slides of faculty and staff of the library as well as images of the library itself. There are also slides of the Social Science Citation Index. They were used for library instruction in the 1970s and 1980s. It also includes a script for a presentation on the library that involved Rex E. Lee which was prepared in 1991.

Conditions Governing Access
Restricted. Closed for 50 years from the date of creation of the records, and thereafter open to the public in accordance with the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Restriction Policy. Requests to access restricted materials in the University Archives should be submitted to the University Archivist.

It is the responsibility of the researcher to obtain any necessary copyright clearances. Permission to publish material from Library Instruction records must be obtained from the Supervisor of Reference Services and/or the L. Tom Perry Special Collections Board of Curators.
Biographical / Historical
The Harold B. Lee Library is the intellectual center of the Brigham Young University campus. It offers students and faculty alike the chance to broaden their horizons and discover new knowledge through the use of its many collections.
