Conditions Governing Use
Mary Bee Jensen was born on May 21, 1917 in Provo, Utah. She received her bachelor's degree in Biology and Education from Park College, Missouri in 1939 and her master's in Recreation Education from Brigham Young University, Utah, in 1963. She then began work teaching in 1953 and continued in various teaching positions until 1984. She founded the International Folk Dancers at Brigham Young University in 1956 and acted as its director from its creation. She also co-founded and acted as president of the National Folk Organization in 1986.
