Administrative History
David James was the Treasurer of the Liberty Fuel Company.
David James was Treasurer of the Liberty Fuel Company until its dissolution in November 1967. The company was founded by Francisco Latuda and Frank Cameron in 1917 following Latuda’s co-purchase (along with friend Charles Picco) of 326 acres of coal lands in Salt Lake City. Coal was shipped from it beginning that year; the mine closed in 1966.
