Scope and Contents
Handwritten and signed letter, dated December 5, 1873, written in Salt Lake City, Utah, and addressed to J. G. Bigler. Hunter writes concerning problems with Bigler's accounts with the general tithing store of the Mormon Church because several persons handled them.

Biographical History
Edward Hunter was a tanner, currier, surveyor, and farmer who joined the Mormon Church in 1840 and served as Presiding Bishop (1852-1883) for that faith.
