Loyd Young articles and correspondence

 File — Folder: 1
Identifier: MSS SC 1062

Scope and Contents

Two articles and two letters. The items relate to an article published in the "Utah Historical Quarterly" in the Spring of 1974 by P. T. Reilly entitled "Kanab United Order: The President's Nephew and the Bishop." Young contends that the article was defamatory to his great-great uncle, John R. Young. The two letters are Loyd's complaint to the editors of the "Quarterly" and the reply by Glen M. Leonard. The two articles are by Loyd Young (29 leaves) and Howard D. Roberts (3 leaves) written in defense of John R. Young.
