Horace H. Cummings diary and autobiography
Scope and Contents
Diary and autobiography. The autobiography has a number of missing sections but basically covers the time his ancestors joined the Mormon Church to 1917 when he began his diary. The journal covers the years 1917-1936. Cummings served as Superintendent of Church schools for the Mormon Church and travelled widely on that and other assignments. He also worked as a teacher and school principal. He served on a mission to Mexico (1885-1998) and held numerous other positions for the Mormon Church.
