Photocopies of a handwritten diary (32 leaves). Molen tells about her departure from Utah and the journey to Hawaii. She also gives accounts of her activities while serving with her husband as a missionary in Hawaii.

Biographical Sketch
Jane Elizabeth Hyde Molen (1834-1934) was born in Nauvoo, Ill. on 12 Feb. 1843. She migrated to Utah, where she married Simpson Molen on 7 Aug. 1859. They later settled in the Cache Valley area. In 1876 she accompanied her husband on a mission to the Sandwich Islands (Hawaii). After their return she was called to serve in the presidency of the newly organized Hyde Park, Utah Primary Association. She had two daughters, Maria and Millie. Jane Molen died in Hyrum, Utah on Christmas Day, 1934.
